Well, I’ve procrastinated writing this blog. I guess that writing a blog for this particular song may force me to say “Good-bye” and I’m really not ready to do that. But, I recorded the song, “Reluctant Farewell”, a song I composed recently in James’ memory and I want to share it with you. The process of writing these pieces, transcribing them and then recording them has been much more emotional than I was prepared for. You can tell how deeply James will be missed in my writing. So, I won’t go on and on…maybe another time. I think that my reluctancy to say “farewell” is obvious in the video of this new song. I hope that it moves you and thank you, so, for listening. You have given me someone to write for, now. I do hope that James is listening. But it’s very important to me that you are out there cheering me on to finish with this project. I’m playing this for you, as well….
