Mom has stayed at home 6 out of the last 8 nights and she is doing very well. I need prayers to be sure I make the best decisions for my entire family and that we creatively find ways to take care of Grandma while still taking care of ourselves and our passions. Mom loves to listen to me practice and I’m needing a lot of it right now. So, that’s working out. There’s only been one night that I got up with her. But, it was only that she was praying out loud for help to get to the bathroom. Of course I couldn’t go back to sleep after being sure she did fine on her own. But, each night after that, she’s been sensitive enough to pray to herself and I guess He’s answered her prayers because she hasn’t needed me in the night since. YAY!! I have Annette’s help from 8:30 AM until at least 2 or 3:00 PM at least 4 days each week. Lois is coming on Saturdays to get her dressed and spend a little time with her while I’m seeing patients. And I’m planning for her to stay at Heidi’s at least 1 or 2 nights each week when she’ll go for BINGO, her hair appointment and to get a bath. As I mentioned, she IS doing much better and if you want to send her any cards now, send them to Dena Kleinsorge, 885 1650 Road, Delta, CO 81416.
