This is the message that I woke up to the day after Christmas. It was sent by my cousin Donna and was so unexpected. Notice the sparkle and life in Diane’s picture. The world will miss her, for sure.
Dear Family & Friends,
It is with great sorrow and sadness I let you know we lost our beloved Diane
at 11:00 AM, December 25th, 2008. She passed very peacefully in the loving
arms of her husband Walt.
For those of you new to this list, she lost her battle fighting
complications resulting from treatment of cancer. Throughout the last six
weeks, Walt has been an incredible loving and dedicated husband to Di. His
strength helped her and all of us through this difficult time.
Please keep Diane, Walt and our Mother in your thoughts and prayers.
Arrangements will be made on Friday and services will be listed in the
Kansas City Star this Saturday and Sunday. If you have any questions,
