Ben and Harriet were over for dinner tonight and it was lovely. The moon was dancing across the water and the breeze was just the right cool. I slow cooked a roast and we enjoyed margaritas and munchies on the terrace, listening to the waves and exchanging stories and laughter. I picked a little classical guitar while we chatted.
Earlier in the day, I had seen patients at my new little office, here in Los Barriles. It was a quiet day and I was able to spend some good time playing my music.
My goal, while I’m here, is to play more than 2 hours each day. I hope I can keep that up. There is SO much to learn!!! I don’t have enough years to become the kind of musician that I would love to be, I’m afraid. But, for now, I thank God for this precious gift that he’s given me and hope that I can do the best I can with it.
